The wine Chateau du Glana is a red wine produced in the Bordeaux region in France, by Château du Glana. This 2017 vintage comes from the Saint-Julien appellation.

Sublimely complex aromas of redcurrant, plum and red cherry with cedary spice and a hint of pencil shaving. The predominance of Cabernet Franc gives a wine of subtlety and elegance with lifted berry fruit and a supple, finely structured mid palate. Firm yet fine tannins frame the spicy, ethereal finish.

A Chardonnay dominant cuvée which is citrus led, with mineral & saline notes, suited to all occasions; particularly in the spring & summer months. The Corallian drinks equally well on its own or particularly with fish dishes. Perfect now or age for up to 5 years.

Brick red colour. Pronounced nose of sultanas, dried apricot and raspberry, and a touch of spice. The palate is rich and complex with layers of dried fruits, butterscotch, hazelnut, spice and cinnamon. Full and generous on the finish.

A mildly savoury nose with nuances of softly roasted black olives, wild honeyed fynbos, bold red berry fruit, spicy coconut, dark plums and vanilla. The palate is pure and rich with great fruit intensity, vibrant acidity and abundant finely textured tannin. Was - £39.25

A fabulous sparkling Blanc de Noirs with great depth of flavour. The colour is lemon gold with a fine stream of tiny bubbles. Floral aromas of white iris & peony marry stone fruit and cherry on the nose with the mildest touch of vanilla and hazelnut.

Based in the village of Chavanay, Phillipe and Lionel Faury produce excellent wine. La Gloriette comes from 35yr old vines of 100% Syrah with a small amount of wood ageing. A deep, spicy nose with a textured, succulent palate.

A blend of equal parts of 2 different terroirs. The marn soil of La Cote, brings power and minerality to the structure as well as length in the mouth. The clay-limestone combination of Tillers brings finesse with citrics and pit fruit. The soul (AME in French)
