Pernot-Belicard
Domaine Pernot-Belicard is the result of the marriage between Philippe Pernot and Madamoiselle Belicard who's father was a well respected grower selling his grapes to many of the renowned producers. Since becoming involved, Philippe has been more interested in producing quality wine under the Pernot-Belicard name and now holds on to the majority of the grapes for his own production.
His first vintage was in 2009 and since then his wines have gone from strength to strength and the domiane has grown through purchasing more Premier Cru parcels in Puligny-Montrchet and Meursaults including Les Perrieres and the highly regardig Champs Canet. Philippe uses between 20% and 35% new oak for his wines in order from them to drink well after a few years with his 2011's alreading drinking fantastically.
