Domaine du Petit Chaumont

Domaine du Petit Chaumont image

Located in the heart of the Camargue, famous for its wild horses and flamingos, this property is run by the delightful sisters Brigitte and Nathalie Bruel. The vines benefit from the cool sea breezes and the delicious crisp Gris de Gris, which has a lovely light rose colour with only 12.5% vol alcohol and is a blend of 60% Grenache Gris and Grenache Noir and 40% Cinsault.

It is aged for three months in concrete vats and bottled in January after the harvest. A delicious Rosé wine of great finesse and elegance.

This is always a really excellent bone dry and full bodied Rose from Camargue. The vines have an average age of 30 years and are Grenache Noir and Gris (60%), Syrah (5%), Cincault ( 5%) and Cabernet Franc (30%). Aromatic, tasty and very good.
