Charles Hours

Charles Hours image

One of the characters of the region together with his daughter Marie. Charles Hours produces a Moelleux, Uroulat, made from Petit Manseng, which is rich and generous, and because of the dry climate tends to be made with passerillage rather than botrytised grapes.

Everything here is totally natural. Charles Hours’ wines are barrel fermented (20% new for Uroulat) and seem beautifully pure, just like the glorious hillside where he lives surrounded by his vineyards. These wines can be drunk young, but they also age superbly.
