Bruno, Pierre and Dominique Fayet are the 6th generation to grow grapes at Domaine de Vedilhan, a large and historic estate which traces its viticultural history back to the Roman era. Since 1999 our winemakers have been working closely with the Fayets and today half of the domaine’s production is used for Boutinot wines.
Located in the heart of Languedoc, very close to Narbonne, between the Canal de la Robine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the ancient Roman oppidum of Montlaurès, you are at the heart of one of the largest wine estates in the South.
The vineyard has been passionately managed by the Fayet family since 1824. It covers more than 160 hectares of vines with HVE3 certification.
Witness to the wine-growing opulence of the end of the 19th century, Védilhan has fully entered a new era, both in the methods of growing vines and those of winemaking in cellars of exceptional size.
