Wine Description:
Serge Cologne has an exceptional 7.3ha site in Fleurie and has been joined by sons Samuel and Landry. A star of the Beaujolais, these wines drip with sappy, raspberry fruit.
Tasting Note:
Fleurie wines are some of the most highly regarded in Beaujolais – made from the Gamay grape variety.
This Fleurie is powerful, with aromas of spice and rich fruit, followed by lilac, peppercorn and vanilla. On the palate it offers a complex, fleshy caramel – like richness, yet harmoniously balanced with just the right amount of acidity. With ripe black fruit and peppery spice this wine will leave a lasting reminiscence of what Fleurie should be like.
Food Suggestion:
Excellent food match with Lamb, beef and game.

Harvesting remains 100% manual, with two successive sortings: in the vineyards and before the grapes enter the cellar, to guarantee high quality wines that combine finesse, aromas and body, donning a lovely ruby red robe shot through with purple tints.
From its exceptional Beaujolais setting, with the know-how and skills gained over the generations, the estate is increasingly concentrating on the health of its customer-consumers, bringing them a product that is crafted in respect for Man and the environment.
