The Luis Alegre Winery was set up in 1968 in Laguardia (Rioja Alavesa), one of the most exclusive wine-making areas of Spain. Over time, we have earned important recognition, boasting 52 hectares of vineyards in an extraordinary location and a collection of great wines.

We are different, and we do things our own way. We like to get out into the world to seek out the latest trends in wine-making, while remaining loyal to our homeland.

This drive to innovate and stay in the game means we that we pioneered
the concept of special wines linked to a single plot.

Furthermore, such is our love for the land that we work and live on, we have traditionally made wine in the most sustainable way possible, minimizing
the impact of adding products. Nowadays, we are implementing a new kind of winegrowing, free from systemic products and herbicides. Our decisions and actions have always and will always revolve around caring for the environment.
