Wine Description:
A Grand Cru Classe Chateau from Pessac-Leognan, in Northern Graves, in a classic vintage which is starting to shine, especially in this region. This highly regarded wine is a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc with plenty of oak.
Tasting Note:
With an equal blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot the nose is open and giving with generous red and black berry fruits along side toasted vanilla and coconut oak. The palate is soft and rounded with fruit and oak but the tannins are still firm giving great structure and balance. Drinking now but will develop and integrate harmoniously over the coming years developing further complexity.
