Wine Description:
This wine has complex and savoury flavours, and his wines age beautifully. Silky and elegant, with enticing flavours of tobacco and leather.
Tasting Note:
This Urbina Reserva Especial 2006 has a complex aromas of black fruit, leather and cigar. this leads you into layers of silky blackberry, with a hint of strawberry, fruit flavours that have been aged. this wine has a velvet smoothness and wonderful length to finish.
Food Suggestion:
Roast meats, especially lamb. It will also be good with lighter meats and cheeses.
Producer Description
Salvador Urbina in 1870 moved to Cuzcurrita and produced the first wine wines, with vineyards still used in Urbina wines.
His sons Ciriaco and Paquita continue the profession, and they are Pedro and Jesús Angel, grandchildren of Salvador, who in 1986 began to produce in the current cellar in stainless steel tanks.
Currently the winery leads the fourth generation, Angel, Pedro and Santiago are important professionals in the sector, (catadores, researchers, engineers and doctors), backed by a great winemaking experience.
